President Obama, Congress, and the United States Office of Personnel Management have all encouraged Federal agencies to expand their use of telework to ensure continuity of operations ; find targeted productivity improvements and reduce overhead, real estate, environmental, and transit costs ; and improve employees' ability to manage their work and life obligations.
Telework's benefits are realized by Federal agencies only to the extent that employees are permitted to actively participate in these programs. This book summarizes the provisions of P.L. 111-292 and identifies several possible issues for congressional oversight of telework. [Présentation par EBSCOhost] |
